AMM Racer Ranked in British Top Ten
Apex Motorsport Marketing's own Marketing Director, Ben Willshire, recently rounded off a successful first season in the British Superkart Championship at Donington Park, Leicestershire.
Ben, who has been involved in motor sport since the early 1990's progressed as a champion from the Senior Rotax Max class to compete in the premier UK karting series and proved to be highly competitive on the national scene. Ben's season, run by RG Racing, saw him take podium finishes at Cadwell Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Mallory Park and Donington Park. He finished the season in a respectable 9th place, earning him status as a ranked British kart driver next year.
Ben will compete in the British Superkart championship in 2008 and selected rounds of the British Rotax max Championship and will be looking to improve on his 2007 championship position. He said today; "I'm pleased enough with this year's results and plan some testing over the winter on a new chassis to make sure we are quicker next year".
Ben's karting experience has been a keen source of enjoyment for him and has also helped him to develop Apex Motorsport Marketing as a specialist consultancy for driver management and representation services.
